Refund policy

At Simply J Designs, every item is printed with love and made to last. Because each order is custom-made, returns and exchanges are limited to cases where we made an error or the item arrives damaged or defective.

If something isn’t right, contact us within 3 days of delivery with your order number and photo proof so we can review the issue promptly.

Eligible Returns & Exchanges

We accept exchanges or returns only for:

  • Incorrect orders received (our mistake)
  • Damaged or defective items (photo proof required)

To qualify, apparel must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition. Transfers (heat-press designs) must be unused and unpressed.

Custom or remade items will only be processed after the original item has been returned and inspected.

If your item is confirmed defective or incorrect, we’ll gladly replace it or issue a refund once the return is approved.

 

 

 

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us within 3 days of delivery at [your business email address].
  2. Include your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description.
  3. We’ll reply within 1–2 business days with next steps.

If the issue was our error, we’ll provide a prepaid return label.

Otherwise, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

Refund & Exchange Processing

  • Refunds: Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
  • Exchanges: Replacements typically ship within 3–5 business days after we receive your return.

Orders Paid with Sezzle or Afterpay

If your purchase was made through Sezzle or Afterpay, your refund will be processed through the same platform. Please note that:

  • Refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear, depending on Sezzle’s or Afterpay’s payment schedules.
  • Once a refund has been issued, Simply J Designs has no control over the timing of installment adjustments.
  • Any outstanding payments or adjustments will be handled directly by Sezzle or Afterpay according to their respective user agreements.

Non-Refundable & Final-Sale Items

The following items are non-refundable and not eligible for exchange or cancellation once production has begun:

  • Custom or personalized designs (after final proof approval)
  • Orders delayed by the shipping carrier
  • Customer errors in order details (size, color, spelling, etc.)
  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)

We handle all requests case-by-case and reserve the right to deny a return if the item does not meet the conditions above.

 

 

 

Porch Pickup Orders

Orders must be picked up within 36 hours of notification. After 36 hours, Simply J Designs is not responsible for quality changes caused by heat, humidity, or extended storage.

 

No refunds or exchanges will be issued for orders left beyond the pickup window.

Orders unclaimed after 14 days will be considered abandoned and discarded without refund or replacement.

Price Adjustments & Competitor Pricing

 

 

 

 

As a small business, we do not offer price matching or retroactive adjustments for sale pricing.

All prices are final at the time of purchase.
